Cyber Help Cell

Phishing Detection Centre

ফিশিং শনাক্তকরণ কেন্দ্র

An advisory checker and guidance desk for suspicious links, fake login pages, OTP-theft calls, fake bank or wallet notices and cloned brand pages. Results are risk indicators, not verdicts.

What this cell does

  • Analyse a URL, email or message for common phishing indicators.
  • Explain what makes the message suspicious so you can judge the next one yourself.
  • Record confirmed phishing campaigns as verified indicators.
  • Guide account recovery after credentials were entered on a fake page.

What this cell will never do

  • We cannot delete, block or restore content on any external platform ourselves.
  • We do not act as police, prosecutor or court, and we never claim to file a police case on your behalf.
  • We do not trace, hack, unmask or surveil any person or account.
  • An automated risk score is advisory — a low score is never a guarantee of safety.

First steps right now

  1. 1If you entered a password, change it immediately on the real site.
  2. 2Enable two-factor authentication on the affected account and email.
  3. 3Never share an OTP — no genuine institution asks for one.
  4. 4Run the link through the checker and file a case if money or data was lost.

Evidence to prepare

  • The exact link or email header
  • Screenshot of the fake page
  • Time you entered any credentials

Evidence is stored in the private vault. Every access is logged and only the assigned review team can open it.
