Cyber Help Cell

Cyber Incident Response Centre

সাইবার ইনসিডেন্ট রেসপন্স সেন্টার

Structured response for live incidents: compromised accounts, hijacked pages, leaked member data, ransom demands and attacks on institutional pages. Follows a contain, preserve, report and recover sequence.

For: Members, institutions and committeesFile a case with this cell

Active incidents are P1 and are picked up ahead of the standard queue.

What this cell does

  • Walk you through containment: sessions, passwords, two-factor and recovery.
  • Preserve a timeline and evidence set while the incident is still live.
  • Prepare the platform or provider report and track the reference.
  • Produce a written post-incident summary for your records.

What this cell will never do

  • We cannot delete, block or restore content on any external platform ourselves.
  • We do not act as police, prosecutor or court, and we never claim to file a police case on your behalf.
  • We do not trace, hack, unmask or surveil any person or account.
  • We do not access your systems, servers or accounts.

First steps right now

  1. 1Change the password of the linked email account first.
  2. 2Sign out all sessions and remove unknown devices.
  3. 3Do not delete logs, emails or alert messages — they are your evidence.
  4. 4File a P1 case describing exactly when you first noticed the incident.

Evidence to prepare

  • Login alert emails
  • List of unauthorised actions with times
  • Ransom or demand message

Evidence is stored in the private vault. Every access is logged and only the assigned review team can open it.
