How to file a report, how to follow it, and your right to contest any decision made about your account.
Filing a report
- Use the Report control next to any item, or the reporting form on this page.
- Choose the category, describe what happened, and add an evidence link if you have one.
- You can follow the status of every report you file in your Safety Centre.
Your right of appeal
- Every action taken against your account can be appealed from your Safety Centre.
- An appeal is reviewed by a moderator who did not take the original decision.
- An upheld appeal reverses the action and clears the restriction from your record.
- Membership rejections, content removals and credential decisions are all appealable.
False reports
- Deliberately false or malicious reporting is itself a breach of community standards.
- Reporting in good faith never counts against you, even if the case is dismissed.
