Payment, wallet and bank fraud support

We organise your evidence, prepare your written complaint and track the case. The provider or the competent authority decides the outcome — NFF never accesses an account and cannot reverse a transaction.

What to do, in order

Step 1 · First hours matter most

Contact the provider immediately

Call the official hotline printed on your card, in your bank's app, or on the wallet provider's own website — never a number sent to you in a message. Ask for the account or wallet to be frozen and for a complaint reference.

Step 2 · Same day

Record the transaction facts

Transaction ID or TrxID, exact amount, date and time, counterpart number or merchant name, and the channel used (app, agent, USSD, card).

Step 3 · Same day

Preserve the evidence

Screenshot the SMS or app notification with the time visible, the chat or call log with the fraudster, and the account statement line. Do not delete anything, even embarrassing messages.

Step 4 · Within 1–3 days

Submit a written complaint

Use the template below. Submit it to the provider in writing (branch, email or in-app complaint) and keep the acknowledgement or reference number.

Step 5 · Ongoing

Track and escalate lawfully

File an NFF case so the timeline, references and evidence stay in one audited place. If the provider does not resolve it, we help you prepare a referral to the competent authority — the authority, not NFF, decides the outcome.

This complaint was prepared with the assistance of Nationalist Freelancing Forum (NFF Bangladesh) Financial Scam Support Cell. NFF does not access, hold or operate any bank or wallet account and cannot reverse a transaction; the provider and the competent authority decide the outcome.

Safety actions right now

  • Never share your PIN, OTP, or full card number — no bank, wallet or NFF staff will ever ask for them.
  • Do not install any 'support' or screen-sharing app requested by a caller.
  • Change the PIN and password of the affected account from a device you trust.
  • Warn the family members who share the same wallet or number.
  • Treat any promise to 'recover your money for a fee' as a second scam.

NFF does not publish unverified hotline numbers. Always use the hotline printed on your card, inside your provider's own app, or on the provider's official website.
