Enable two-factor authentication on your marketplace, email and payment accounts today — using an authenticator app rather than SMS wherever possible.

Use a unique password for every service, stored in a password manager. A reused password is the single most common cause of account takeover among Bangladeshi freelancers.

Review connected applications and active sessions monthly, and remove anything unfamiliar.

Never share a verification code. No marketplace, bank or NFF staff member will ever ask for one. Report suspicious contact through the Cyber Safety Centre immediately.
